                               RESOLUTION NO. 19635
                   
                   
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR 
                   OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES TO 
                   ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BENNETT 
                   CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, RELATIVE TO REPLACING 
                   AN UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK, FOR AN AMOUNT 
                   NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED TWENTY THOUSAND 
                   AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($220,000.00), OF WHICH 
                   SIXTY THOUSAND AND NO/100 DOLLARS 
                   ($60,000.00) WILL BE APPROPRIATED FROM THE 
                   CONTINGENCY FUND.
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Department 
       of General Services be and is hereby authorized to enter into a 
       contract with Bennett Construction Company, relative to replacing 
       an underground storage tank, for an amount not to exceed 
       $220,000.00, of which $60,000.00 will be appropriated from the 
       Contingency Fund.
